Dr. Dave and Evil Steve thank Lana Gray as she leaves the show for a new job, joking about how the program will change with Evil Steve behind the board. Election concerns lead Dr. Dave to argue that painful public controversy can motivate people to investigate, participate and become less passive. The program also captures the early limits of mobile web access, Dr. Dave breaking a laptop screen on air after spilling Coke, his frustration with phones becoming game machines, and a paperless Microsoft update collapsing when its link fails.
