Computer Talk reaches beyond the studio as Dr. Dave interviews Team Spencer friends live from the 24 Hours of Daytona and then explains that the brothers passed up the invitation to attend because their commitment to listeners came first. He also describes the program as part of a balanced life rather than a computer only world, even as technology reaches into nearly every ordinary activity. Dr. Dave strongly challenges Google for resisting a United States request for search records while accepting censorship in China, and an Ameriprise laptop breach becomes a warning about valuable unencrypted data leaving an office. A DLP display that grew from airline ticket research illustrates how discovery often occurs along the journey, while the Pixar acquisition leaves Dr. Dave anticipating how Steve Jobs might carry Disney further into digital media.
