In an unusually loose show, Dr. Dave and Evil Steve joke through equipment problems, show listeners Evil Steve's Road Atlanta video and celebrate the weekly arrival of the pizza that keeps the program going. A caller without a computer asks the computer show for help with television volume, while another unresolved call gives Dr. Dave a chance to say plainly when he is “grasping at straws.” The program follows the Palm Pre just before launch and reaches one of Dr. Dave's strongest recurring principles: too much protection or optimization can become the very problem it was supposed to solve.
