A listener brings Dr. Dave a 1993 computer magazine containing his own article about the anticipated Windows 95, just as the brothers mark eight years since the show went national. On the fortieth anniversary of Apollo 11, Dr. Dave remembers watching the landing on a black-and-white television and explains why his family tries to make spaceflight feel important. Amazon's remote deletion of purchased copies of 1984 and Animal Farm becomes a remarkably early warning about the difference between owning a physical book and licensing digital content. Dr. Dave also recalls the brothers' lifelong love of cars, Evil Steve's hands-on RX-3 restoration and a tiny Mazda repair found through an owner community instead of an expensive dealer part.
