Dr. Dave grounds Computer Talk in weekly, hands-on work, explaining that he is not merely reading press releases and that pride should not keep a person from asking for help before a technical problem becomes more expensive. Looking ahead, he and Evil Steve imagine a single “origamic” device that could change form instead of forcing people to carry several gadgets, while Dr. Dave admits that technology can also be a hobby like his fountain pens rather than a productivity tool. The brothers share their excitement about Dr. Dave joining old racing friends at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and describe Computer Talk as a technology version of the brotherly Click and Clack show. A political-media discussion returns to Dr. Dave’s preference for hearing even uncomfortable opposing views because broader information helps people make better judgments.
