A caller's dual-monitor problem leads Dr. Dave to recognize that his last suggestion should have been the first: reset the docking station before assuming a complicated failure. He then remembers people who called only to ask what laptop should replace a supposedly dead one; a simple battery-and-power reset sometimes revived the machine and made him look like a magician, a consulting story capped by a joke about charging according to the replacement price. The family highlight is the end of Dr. Dave's son Nick's difficult Flowing Wells season, where Dr. Dave and Evil Steve proudly report that he finished as the team's leading tackler. The complete show also preserves Dr. Dave's recovery from illness, healthcare.gov commentary, Chromebooks and Ubuntu, hard-drive failure history, backups, cloud risk, Candy Crush and the principle of living deliberately.
