Why Dave said “I'm my computer's user” · Proposed air date:
Evil Steve remembers that Dr. Dave began his familiar radio introduction as an homage to Dr. Laura Schlesinger. Neither brother can reconstruct her exact original sign-off, but their attempt preserves the affectionate, slightly improvised history behind a phrase Dr. Dave had repeated so often that it simply came out automatically.
This excerpt runs from 4:44.738 to 6:11.230 within its preserved source recording.
